UI/UX Designer Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding business requirements and user feedback to create user-centered designs.
  • User flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups creations.
  • Creating style guides, design systems, design patterns, and appealing user interfaces from requirements. 
  • You have past UI/UX Designer expertise as well as a good portfolio of comparable work.
  • You are familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
  • Creating user interface elements such as input controls, navigation components, and informational components.
  • Creating unique graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables). Identifying and resolving UX issues (e.g. responsiveness).
  • Effectively collaborating with product, engineering, and management teams. In order to improve user experience, incorporate consumer feedback, usage analytics, and usability findings into design.

 

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of X+ years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
  • A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A team player but can work independently too.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
